- We've moved!
The Grant Amateur Radio Club has moved to the old Alverda Reed Elementry School ,406 West Plum Street, Georgetown, Ohio 45121. Many thanks to Al Noris the A.B.C.E.O.I. director for making room for GARC in their new building!
- Morse Code Not Required
The requirement for Morse Code all classes of amateur radio license is no more as of February 24, 2007. The new regulations have been published in the Federal Register. Read more about the change at the ARRL web site.

Events
- Monthly Meeting
The Grant Amateur Radio Club meets on the first Thursday of each month at the old Alverda Reed School Building in Georgetown, Ohio. Anyone interested in amateur radio or any other form of 2-way radio communications is invited to join us at our monthly meeting.
- License Test
The next test session will be held ?? Sessions are held at 10:00 am on Saturday mornings at the old Alverda Reed School Building Georgetown, Ohio. Walk-in's are welcome at all test sessions!!
- Information
You may contact the club via email at GARCOHIO with any questions, to add events to the calander, or to arrange on the air announcements for special events or important notices.
- GARC Ham Fest
Our 15th Annual Hamfest plans are coming together! This years event will be held on November 8th from 8:00 to 3:00, vendors can set up begining at 6:00am. This years Grand Prize will be a Yaesu FT-897D with an antenna so the winner will have a ready to go station!. There are some pictures of our previous festivities in the online photo album.
